1. This guide follows the previous guide showing how to add a custom domain you own. If you haven't followed those steps yet, we recommend you start there, then come back to this guide.
2. If your domain is connected to another provider, you can press the continue button, and then the get started button. For example, the image below shows what it would look like if your provider was eNom.
3. Next, you'll be prompted to select your method of connection, nameservers or record pointing. We recommend connecting via nameservers as we can help you manage any problems that arise during the connection process. More info on this can be found here.
Connecting your domain via Nameservers
1. If you choose to connect via nameservers, you'll be prompted to sign in to your provider. Go to your domain provider's site, sign in to your account, then come back to the editor.
2. Once on your domain provider's site, go to their domains page and find your specific domain. Locate where you manage your domain settings, and look for a button that is similar to "manage settings" or "domain settings".
3. In your domain settings, find the area where you can manage or edit nameservers. This could be called "DNS settings", "Nameservers" or something similar. If you don't see it, try looking in a menu at the top or side of the page. Find your current nameservers which should look like this.
4. On your provider's site, replace your current nameservers with the Bizwise nameservers, as shown below. In total, you should have four nameserver records. After replacing them, save your changes.
5. If successful, you'll see this screen and are done the process.
Connecting your domain via Record Pointing
1. If you choose to connect via nameservers, you'll be prompted to sign in to your provider. Go to your domain provider's site, sign in to your account, then come back to the editor.
