When creating or editing your domain name, you may run into unexpected errors that prevent you from saving your domain name. Listed below are the three instances that can occur and how to fix them.

1. This domain is unavailable.

  • The temporary URL is being used by another customer

  • The temporary URL is being used by Bizwise

  • The temporary URL is reserved for potential future use by Bizwise or another customer

2. This domain may contain explicit content.

  • The temporary URL is restricted from anyone using explicit words in the domain

  • For exceptions, users can contact Bizwise support

3. This domain is invalid.

  • The domain is more than 63 characters long

  • The domain includes symbols other than a hyphen (eg: *_!)

  • The domain starts or ends with a hyphen

  • The domain has consecutive hyphens
